Established in 1950, Olinger Chapel Hill Mortuary and Cemetery is located in a quiet residential area, away from the hustle of a major city. The chapel, with its spectacular, panoramic view of the Rocky Mountain Front Range, is the most attractive funeral chapel in the area. Seating for 200 easily accommodates even the largest of services in a peaceful, reflective setting.
The Garden of Tranquility features a sustainable landscape, complete with a stone and copper lodge-style committal pavilion, a stream, nature gardens and mature trees. The responsible use of distinctive natural materials brings a natural beauty to this garden, creating a calming sanctuary. Features include traditional lawn crypt properties, bench estates, gated estates and build-to-suit lots. The new Garden of the Risen Christ celebrates the esteemed traditions and unique heritage of the Orthodox community. The heart of this garden will feature an elegant granite statuary area honoring the Resurrection.
We are an endowed-care cemetery, which means that when you purchase a monument, property or grave marker from us, we reinvest a portion of that revenue back into the cemetery for maintenance and improvements in perpetuity.
The beautifully treed grounds of Olinger Chapel Hill cemetery are also the permanent home for the Columbine Memorial, honoring the teacher and 12 students who lost their lives in April 1999. Thirteen jet-black granite crosses each have a recessed portrait of each victim.
Families benefit greatly from being served by our highly trained and professional staff, fluent in the most recent industry trends. We also offer valuable preplanning information to help individuals and families with planning needs and distinctive catering services as a convenience for families to assist with receptions.
Olinger Chapel Hill received a prestigious 2008 Pursuit of Excellence Award.
